In my Podcast Roundup, I highlight podcasts I’ve been listening to lately. Here are a few recommendations for August 2017:

30 for 30 Podcasts

If you like ESPN’s 30 for 30 documentaries, you’ll love 30 for 30 Podcasts. Each episode features entirely new stories not covered by the TV show. Decathletes Dan O’Brien and Dave Johnson are covered in the first podcast, and season one continues from there with five episodes total. If you like sports and great storytelling, this may be your new favorite podcast.

Ear Hustle

The hook for Ear Hustle is intriguing: It’s a podcast about life inside prison brought to you and produced by the inmates themselves. Each episode, San Quentin State Prison inmates Earlonne Woods and Antwan Williams along with Bay Area artist, Nigel Poor, bring you stories from people living inside the American prison system.

Welcome to Macintosh – Season 3

I’ve mentioned Welcome to Macintosh on here before, and with last Friday’s release of Season 3, Episode 1, one of my favorite podcasts deserves another shout out. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, the show’s creator, Mark Bramhill, was able to produce 10 episodes for Season 3 with a new one coming out each Friday.
